These pictures were taken on our visit to Disney's Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida. This was the first time I've been back to Disney in over 16 years!! Needless to say, lots has changed. They've added many new parks, but surprisingly, Magic Kingdom was just as I remembered. What better way to start the tour of the Magic Kingdom with some pictures of the castle. This is my favorite castle picture. Here is another shot of the castle from a different angle in the park. Here are the world famous Mickey and Minnie Mouse posing in front of the castle. And here is a picture of Thunder Mountain. Unfortunately, the roller coaster appeared as soon as I snapped the picture!! Figures. The Disney Haunted House is my favorite haunted house of all. I loved it as a kid, and still thought it was lots of fun today. This is Splash Mountain. It wasn't here when I first came to Disney 16 years ago. Due to the inclimate weather, we opted not to go on this ride because we would have been wet for the rest of the afternoon (it was a cloudy day.) Here's a shot during the Pirates of the Carribean ride. Its the only one that I took that came out halfway decent. I'm still learning how to use my digital camera. This is a picture of Space Mountain. Its a roller coaster in the dark. Even today, the wait was over an hour long!! And here's a photo of Tommorrowland. This is the section of the park where Space Mountain is located as well as some other cool rides. And lastly, here's a photo of the world famous electic parade which is being retired this April 2001.
