These pictures were taken on our visit to Disney's MGM Studios in Orlando, Florida. We had lots of fun, especially on the House of Terror and the Fantasmic light show. I thought that this picture would make a great postcard. I like these towering arch photos, I took another one at Universal a few days later. And here's a picture of the dreaded House of Terror. Apparently, they've just revamped the ride to make it even more scary. So what is it? Well, its supposed to be a haunted hotel. As you enter the hotel, you are escorted to an elevator where you sit down and they strap you in. At this point, the elevator rises and then it suddenly drops you without warning!! Then it stops short and lifts you again, and then drops you again!! This continues several times until the final drop at the end. Its quite the ride. This picture is the model home that was used in the Golden Girls TV show. This is a fake house built for films and television. I had to take the picture for my wife cuz she loves the TV show!! Here is the entrance to the Aerosmith Rock 'n' Roller coaster. We didn't get a chance to go on this ride cuz we were running short on time. This is the big guitar that is at the entrance to the Aerosmith ride. I took this picture to contrast with the ones that follow. This is the stage for the Fantasmic laser light show. Its pretty dull looking right now, but as you'll see, its quite a spectacle. This light show was very cool. As you can see, it was very bright and colorful. Again, more of the light show. At one point during the show, lots of the Disney characters came out on floats in the water. Here is a picture of Beauty and the Beast. Lastly, here is the finale to the show. It was very impressive with fireworks, water, lights, and smoke.
