These are photos of our almost Blizzard of 2001! This is undoubtedly the most amount of snow I can remember. I was too little to remember the blizzard of 78 so this was quite the storm for me.

I took this picture on the way to work the day following the storm. Its not nearly as impressive as the day of the storm, but I didn't have my camera with me at the time.

This gives you an idea of how much snow we got. As you can see, the snow bank was higher than my car!!

Here's another shot of the street as I drove to work. It was very beautiful and seemed almost surreal.

Here's a picture of the car ports and the parking lot at our apartment building. As you can see, everything is covered by snow.

Here I am, more than knee deep in the snow. This is the walkway to the apartment door. The snow was up to my mid-thigh, keep in mind, that I'm 6'2".

You can see that the snow piles were getting very high as the plows were stacking it. What a mess!!

These poor bastards are never going to get themselves out!!

Same goes for these. The worst part is the snow left by the plows cuz its packed and much more dense. And of course, it ended up turning to ice!

This is the front of our apartment building. Of course, you can't really see it because its been obscured by piles of snow!

As you can see, the snow is up to the first floor windows! It was pretty amazing, lets just hope thats all the snow we'll be getting this year!
